Thoughts a week after production

Wow. That is one of the hardest and most rewarding things that I have ever done. Thanks so much to everyone involved for all of your hard work and positivity. Could not have done it without you.

Due to the nature of the play, we did not publicize or release the names of people involved in the production, so the Playbill was not published or distributed until the whole run was complete. Also, due to cost and environmental concerns, we did not print hundreds of copies of a booklet that would likely end up in the trash.

The playbill for the play is available as a PDF for download, ( https://www.playbillder.com/show/vip/The_Yellow_Sign/2022/The_Yellow_Sign_125643?fbclid=IwAR0XF8OMiJX_w7ODtQJSJF2gp1WjvDNfD2ad2KpeJKO3H9wI9n3vLXLHxc4#.Y3jqTsMSYWI.facebook ) and I hope that everyone will go and look at it, and recognize all of the wonderful people involved in bringing this production to life. I am truly grateful to all of you.

SO, what is next? We spoke with the cast about a possible revival for a short run next year, and the response was positive. We do have a few openings in the cast, however ;) so will have to figure that out. Sweet dreams to all of you who were at a performance.

I have another play in development, The Mask, also based on Chambers, with a different focus. More of a drama with horror elements, not nearly so intimately interested in messing with the audience's mind. I also have three plays by other authors that I want to see produced, and I enjoyed this so much that I cannot imagine not doing it again. Then there are the commercial plays that I would love to see. The Mystery of Edwin Drood, anyone? A Shoggoth on the Roof?

So, for those of you interested, I will say: watch this space. Or at least the FacePlant page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063033771409 , as this one may fade if I don't pay the rent.

Thanks for coming along for the ride, it was insanely fun.
